The Morris Hall renovation included updating offices, a greenhouse, lecture halls, chemistry and biological laboratories, mathematics and computer science laboratories. In addition, the building used corridors as the return air plenum and these were replaced with more standard practices.
The project was broken out into a multiple-phased schedule due to class schedules as students continued to occupy the building throughout renovations. The project entailed demolition, abatement, relocation of lab gases and utilities, laboratory casework, epoxy flooring and fume hoods and exhaust.
