Due to growing community needs and demand for specialized services, the clinic was expanded to enhance the current waiting area, add minor procedure room and support spaces, and add a new behavioral health clinic with a separate entry, evaluation rooms and treatment rooms.

Enhanced Services

Strategic phasing was implemented to allow for continual operation and no interruptions to the existing clinic and hospital. Clay County Medical Center received an exterior remodel to the emergency department including parking walkway and drainage improvements, as well as a covered canopy over the new drop-off area and patient access. The emergency department remained open during construction.
