What to expect from our summer internship program
Don’t expect to simply be running errands or performing frivolous tasks during your internship at McCownGordon. Instead, you will be a valued member of the team, working side-by-side with our team on job sites, in the office and across the region to learn the necessary skills for your future profession.
What is it like working at McCownGordon Construction? →
We offer a wide variety of internship opportunities, including:
- Construction-related internships (Estimating, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, etc.)
- IT internships
- Marketing internships
- Accounting internships
Throughout your internship, you will learn more about the ins and outs of construction within a fun, engaging and collaborative work environment. In addition, you’ll get to know your fellow interns and gain exposure to other projects and departments. One of the best parts of our internship program is our intern tour days when interns in different departments get to visit each other’s projects. This gives you a glimpse into different roles, departments, types of projects and phases of construction.

We are always seeking hard-working, diverse students with an ambitious mindset for our summer internship program. While good grades are important, we also look for candidates who are active in their community, schools and other extracurricular programs.
