With a degree in Architectural Engineering, Adam thrives on the dynamic environment of construction. With 20 years of experience, both in the field and office, he is motivated by the opportunity to overcome obstacles in the pursuit of a perfectly planned project.

A drummer, skydiver, and world traveler? Amanda is always doing the most to live life to the fullest. She joined the McCownGordon team as Packaging Manager and works with the Manufacturing team.

Coming from a background of facilities management and program management for construction activities in multi-site organizations, Andrew has spent time across the table as the owner.

Andy’s innovative problem solving makes him the right man for any job. He is a solutions-focused leader and fosters camaraderie with his project teams. Some think he gets his quick thinking and genius inspirations from his favorite childhood TV show, MacGyver.

With Lincoln Logs as her favorite childhood toy, it’s no wonder she ended up in construction. As Regional Safety Director, Angela’s favorite part of the job is the satisfaction of seeing workers go home safely after a hard day’s work...and we’re grateful for that.

Anwar has been a part of a wide array of projects in multiple markets, but he has extensive experience working with research and development clients. He is a Jayhawk through and through, but it never stops him from working with all the Wildcats in our office.

Although she might be surrounded by Cowboys fans, this die hard Chiefs fan loves the competitive nature of it! Based out of our Dallas-Fort Worth office, April is a relationship builder who's eager to have that next conversation with you. Reach out to her today!

Ashley grew up on a farm near Ness City, Kansas, and went to Fort Hays State for college before venturing to Kansas City. When he's not busy crunching numbers, you can find this lifelong Chiefs fan outdoors.

Bobby finds joy in the complexity of his job and looks forward to collaborating with his team to find solutions to any challenges that arise. In his free time, Bobby stays busy watching his two daughters play sports and working on projects around his house.

An Iowa State graduate, Brad has been with McCownGordon for over 17 years, working in operations. He loves his role here and in the industry because of its people-centered nature and the variety of projects the job includes.

Brandi is not your typical HR Director. She’s fun, easy to talk to, and goes above and beyond to make McCownGordon a best place to work. Leading our Wellbeing, Inclusion, and Women in Leadership committees, Brandi empowers our associates to live healthy lifestyles.

A relationship-builder from the Wichita area, Brent lives by our core values. He uses them at work, home, and on the soccer field. Brent coaches his kid’s team, and even won a gold medal in the Junior Olympics when he was 14!

As co-founder, Brett’s vision of a construction company founded on the core values of integrity, relationships and performance set the stage for what McCownGordon has become. Even though he lives in Kansas, he loves to snow ski and scuba dive.

A native of Salina, Kansas, Brett earned degrees from both the University of Iowa and Kansas State University. Outside of the office, you'll find him playing golf, coaching his kids' teams, and cheering on the Wildcats!

Brian's favorite movie is Rambo, and we’re pretty sure it’s because he himself is a real-life hero having served as an officer in the US Army. Now Brian is responsible for a whole team of project management troops who provide unmatched customer service.

Brian enjoys working on science and technology projects and meeting the individuals who also work in those fields. His four young kids, including a set of twins, keep him busy outside of the office.

Brian is directly responsible for McCownGordon’s overall safety and health program. Our firm believes safety is of the utmost importance and we’re proud to have Brian at the helm. In his free time, Brian serves on the school board for Lone Jack School District.

Bridget has risen through the ranks from general laborer to managing tough projects as lead superintendent. On the job, Bridget doesn’t shy away from hard work. In construction for most of her adult life, she really enjoys her role and actually thinks it’s fun.

With more than 30 years in the industry, Chad takes on complex and difficult projects in stride. When he's not managing jobsites, you can find him spending time with his grandchildren at Disney!

Charles DeVoe serves as Senior Vice President for McCownGordon and leads the Dallas-Fort Worth region for the company. Outside of work he enjoys traveling, golf, and football! Sorry Cowboys, this guy is diehard Philadelphia Eagles! Fly Eagles Fly!

When Chris isn't on a job site, you can likely find him in his woodshop crafting something new. With his energetic personality, Chris has thrived throughout his 30 years in the industry, starting as a carpenter and now leading a diverse range of projects.

Guided by a sincere passion for excellence, Chris lends experience and wisdom to project teams across the company. Working with Chris, you’ll never talk about challenges. To him, a challenge is just another great opportunity to exceed expectations.

Chris is dedicated to building high-performing teams and working with them to help develop their personal and professional growth throughout their careers. His true passion is seeing others grow and succeed.

Chris provides results-driven leadership on his projects and is a dedicated project team member. This self-proclaimed outdoorsman has a passion for teaching his own kids about the outdoors and the value of hard work.

Chris brings more than 20 years of experience in construction operations to every client engagement. His expertise spans multiple vertical markets. When he’s not leading project teams and working with clients, he's often cheering his son's baseball team.

Chris works to provide our clients guidance and budget management during the design phase. In his free time, he serves on the Builder’s Association Board of Directors and can be found with his family at the lake or biking around town.

Chris leads our overall health and safety program here at McCownGordon. Although safety is a full time gig, when Chris does get some free time he loves spending it with his kids. He also loves to go golfing and fishing!

Even though Chris won’t ride on one of the motorized downtown scooters, this KC midtown-dweller still explores Kansas City and knows it like the back of his hand. He is a top-notch leader and provides innovative solutions to help meet clients’ needs.

Coleman grew up driving construction trucks: Tonka trucks that is! The rest is history. Coleman believes in always being proactive and staying one step ahead on the project site. He is an excellent project leader on jobsites for our Manhattan office.

Daniel is a hard worker and full of camaraderie. This dedicated project engineer also has one of the best personal trivia facts. Daniel grew up in Kenya, in walking distance from a hotel known for its tallest residents: giraffes!

One of our favorite things about Daniel? His ability to build trust is often accentuated by a good joke. He leads our healthcare, higher ed. and science and tech markets. A client-focused leader, he has the experience and skills to oversee these complex projects.

With many years of experience working in public education, Darin is familiar with rural communities and their importance. A little-known fact about Darin: his basement got a makeover by the TLC TV-show MAKING IT HOME.

A tech-lover from day one, Dave couldn’t help but make his way from project manager to the world of virtual design and construction. He helps project teams solve challenges through 3D modeling. Interesting fact about Dave, he hasn’t cleanly shaved in 11 years.

As a Kansas State Construction Science graduate, David fits right in with the other Wildcats in our office. He primarily works on K-12 projects, finding that the schedules and logistics required for these projects make every day a rewarding challenge.

Derek leads the healthcare market for McCownGordon. His work portfolio includes projects for some of the region’s notable healthcare providers. His other portfolio includes his art, including many different wildlife drawings.

Dustin is always looking for innovative ways to make our team more efficient. He’s ingrained a technology culture at McCownGordon from day one and continues to lead the industry with the latest construction tech. Funny thing, though - he’s super low-tech at home.

Emily is a project executive turned learning and development guru. Developing our team as leaders – both professionally and personally – is her jam (along with all things procedures, management software, cross-training, and our internship program).

Whether she’s working out the details of a mechanical system or working out on our Peloton bike, Emily is a dedicated hard worker. She leads our Building Performance Solutions department, which specializes in MEP, VDC, and Commissioning services.

Erin strategically positions our teams to pursue and win work. In her opinion, Wichita is the perfect blend of big and small cities - it offers everything you need with little traffic. She’s excited to see the city and McCownGordon evolve over the next 20 years.

Freddy’s experience working in the office and field gives him a unique perspective when working closely with project managers, estimators and superintendents. When he’s not working, Freddy’s probably sharing gardening tips or the latest microbrewery he’s visited.

As a Senior Quality Manager, Gregg is a true “Jack-Of-All-Trades”. His favorite part of the job is seeing and working on a wide variety of projects.

Growing up, Heather worked and played on the family farm, driving a combine before she even had her learner’s permit. Working on a construction site with large equipment suits her just fine. Outside of work, you can find her out at the lake camping with her husband

Ian manages with a client-first approach, ensuring he fully understands the client’s project goals before putting a construction plan in place. Ian’s experience transfers over to his life outside work by remodeling his home for his wife and four children.

Jamie lives and breathes manufacturing and brings unparalleled expertise to the table having started his career in operations. Based in DFW, Jamie works with clients across the country to understand their goals and ensure McCownGordon delivers results.

When Jason isn’t on the job site, you’ll likely find him coaching baseball or working on cars. Jason has a passion for cars and has claimed a YouTube Master Auto Mechanics degree.

Jason received his BS in Civil Engineering from Missouri S&T and a Master's in Construction Management from KU. With 28 years of experience, Jason knows that preconstruction is more than providing estimates; it requires teamwork to provide innovative solutions.

Jeff has completed projects across the US, from the Vegas Strip to Hudson Yards, and back to the Midwest. With over 2 years at McCownGordon, he enjoys calling Kansas City home, as he’s a Kansas Jayhawk at heart.

Jeff brings more than a decade of experience connecting manufacturing clients with capital facility, process and packaging project solutions.

With extensive experience in financial planning, Jeff assists in evaluating strategic direction for the entire company. Most mornings, this workout buff can be found in our gym, but sometimes his routine appears to involve drinking coffee and watching the news.

Jeff Roy is McCownGordon's SVP of Manufacturing. When he's not working or being a bourbon connoisseur, you can catch hitting some golf balls or next to the grill. Reach out to Jeff for all of your Industrial and Manufacturing needs.

Jessica helps our team stay up and running, assisting with all our construction technology and general IT needs. She supports our virtual networks, user accounts, security and more. If she’s not at a computer, she’s probably nestled up reading a good book.

Jo is passionate about many things, but the top three are food, traveling and grammar! When she’s not busy creating marketing collateral, she enjoys spending most of her time outside with her husband and three daughters.

John is an exceptional manager of our field operations. In fact, he was recognized internally for our “Living our Values” award for exhibiting our core value of Integrity in everything he does. John runs a streamlined project and has fun along the way.

Jorge has a responsibility for each person on the jobsite and is passionate about sending everyone home safe each day. He not only cares about his team, but through his work with local nonprofits you can tell he cares about the community he lives in.

Growing up in the Dotte, Kansas City has always been home to Josh. He values a team-oriented approach and is focused on navigating the stress of projects with laughter and collaboration.

Leading a variety of market sectors and active in the DFW community, Juan is committed to delivering an unmatched customer experience as SVP, business unit leader.

Coach, Dad, Home Improver, and Market Leader? How about all four. Justin loves to stay busy and always is. Whether it's his next home project, coaching his children's soccer teams, or finding a solution to all of your manufacturing needs, Justin's your guy!

Outside of her role as a Project Manager, Kate co-leads our involvement in the KC Corporate Challenge. At home, she stays busy with her two Goldendoodles!

Focused on the higher education market, she serves as the conduit in connecting subject matter experts with clients and uncovering project solutions to deliver the best building experience.

Kenneth’s depth of experience in a variety of markets is second to none. Clients respect his can-do attitude while finding his sense of humor refreshing. During the summer months, you’ll find this proud grandpa boating on the lake with his family.

When visiting our Manhattan office, you’ll be greeted by Kourtney’s smile and outgoing personality. Next time you’re in town, make sure you stop by and say hi, and she can tell you about the time she ate a chocolate-covered cricket.

Krista is a big believer in taking on new challenges and stepping out of her comfort zone, making her perfectly suited for the role of marketing director. Outside of work, she spends most of her time refereeing the brotherly love between her two sons.

From being a former collegiate athlete to an avid traveler, Kyle loves to be adventurous in all aspects of her life. As a Business Development Manager, she finds many opportunities to spread charm and a positive attitude to everyone she meets!

Lindsay has earned the nickname Project “Momager” for good reason. She is passionate about mentoring junior associates and getting them excited about construction. As a veteran, mom, and an experienced Project Manager, Lindsay is a leader and teammate to all.

Luke leads complex, multidimensional projects with a strong focus on community engagement and achieving client goals. He's results-driven with a strong motivation to perform and deliver high-quality facilities while maintaining relationships.

Mallory connected right when she joined the team thanks to a shared passion to better serve our community. In her own words, “It’s incredible to work for a company that truly values people and supports causes so near and dear to my heart.”

Leading our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team, Matt takes a holistic collaborative approach to challenges. He knows the importance of looking at a project from everyone’s perspective to ensure the best outcome for all.

Melanie doesn’t back down from a challenge, making her perfectly suited for the role of project engineer. We bet her determination comes from working on the family farm. It probably came in handy during competitive rowing for the University of Kansas, too.

Michael transitioned to construction from a finance background, giving him a unique perspective that helps him understand his clients better. Meeting him for lunch? Make sure there’s chicken fingers and grilled cheeses; he has the taste of a 5-year-old.

Michael, originally from Omaha and a Tennessee State grad, is a Project Manager who’s worked on everything from stadiums to airports. A LeBron James and Denver Broncos fan, he loves traveling and diving into exciting projects.

Even though Mike believes you shouldn’t rush to get older, you may have to slow him down… when he’s talking. This superintendent is a professional auctioneer on the side.

This outgoing, energetic and motivated Kansas-native leads our office in Wichita, Kansas. Mitch’s favorite day on the job is attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and he is especially excited about the ribbon cutting for Derby High School (his own alma-mater)!

Nancy is a true innovator when it comes to talent management, leadership development, associate relations, and organizational development. When she’s not working, you can find Nancy boating on the lake with her family.

When you meet Natalie, make sure you ask her about her garden and her new flowers. When she’s not helping coordinate a project, she loves working on her garden and biking around the county park.

Nathan has focused primarily on healthcare, working on projects in 9 states and 2 countries. Finding challenges rewarding, it’s no surprise you’ll likely find him surfing, skiing, hunting, or fishing when he’s not in the office.

Growing up on a farm and ranch in the small town of Claflin, KS, Nolan is no stranger to hard work. While he primarily works in healthcare, corporate, higher education, and science/technology fields, outside of work, you can often find him working in his garden.

Encouraging progress and development both at work and in the KC community, Pat serves on various boards and brings a wealth of experience to help our region thrive. In a previous life, Pat served as a U.S. diplomat and ran for statewide office.

Pegah’s been part of an array of projects from new construction to renovations for corporate offices, sports facilities and educational spaces. Even though she’s often on site, the office loves when she brings in her famous bacon wrapped dates and Persian cooking.

Ramin plays an integral role in establishing McCownGordon as a leader in delivering client-focused construction management services. When he’s not busy with CEO duties, this avid photographer might be framing a perfect shot or kicking back with his wife and kids.

Driven by his intent-based leadership style, Rob is passionate about finding solutions through engaging, inspiring, and equipping others to achieve their goals. Highly energetic, he uses that energy to empower his team and spend time with his 8 kids outside of work

Robert has a background in carpentry, which greatly contributes to his appreciation for the collaborative effort involved in his job. He enjoys seeing the culmination of everyone’s efforts as they work towards turning a completed project over to a client.

Ryan brings a valuable and unique perspective to the team as both a licensed architect and attorney. While Ryan says he is all business and doesn’t need a fun fact, in his spare time you’ll find him planning for his next vacation adventure with his wife and kids.

Sara leads corporate and K-12 client initiatives, connecting business and educational leaders to solutions that achieve their unique goals for every build. Maybe it’s in her blood; her dad and two brothers also work in the construction industry.

Scott leads our preconstruction initiatives for all clients served form our Kansas City headquarters. He brings decades of expertise providing clients with value-added solutions that achieve their objectives while saving time, money and scope.

Originally from Northwest Kansas, Scott has a straightforward, get-it-done management style. His attention to detail and focus on communication allow his teams to work effectively together, resulting in highly successful projects for all team members.

Sheri leads the overall marketing strategy and implementation, building our brand and setting us up well for strategic growth. Outside of work, Sheri spends her time watching college football or on the hunt for the best burger in KC with her husband and two sons.

Staphanie helps our project teams stay organized and works closely with our trade partners. It is easy to work with Staphanie thanks to her client-focus and adaptability. You’ll want to become her friend if you’re not already – she throws great dinner parties.

Steve’s attention to detail and focus on collaborative communication allow his teams to work effectively together, resulting in highly successful projects for all the team members. His experience includes high-rise and corporate offices for many area clients.

Steve provides support to ensure your project runs smoothly. He also leads our field operations, self-perform, warehouse/logistics, QA/QC and scheduling teams. What keeps this Jamaica-native relaxed through the week? Working out and being with his family and dogs.

Taylor has been working in the construction industry since he was 14 years old. Outside of construction, he has a strong passion for cooking. If and when he wins the lottery, you’ll have to make sure to stop by his food truck.

Tiffany works with a wide array of people as she supports the estimating team. When she isn’t helping pull together a bidder’s list, she and her family are out and about having fun. They love to attend sports events together, especially her own kids’ sports!

Todd leads the firm’s offices in Kansas. His distinctive approach creates an entrepreneurial atmosphere and a never give-up attitude to client service. We think he gets his motivation from his favorite movies: Rudy, Hoosiers and other classic sports movies.

As a Senior Superintendent, Travis enjoys working through challenges and helping direct the project teams’ path forward. When he's not at a jobsite, you'll often find him in the Ozarks or out camping.

Being detail-oriented and competitive gives Travis the drive to continually improve. It also explains why he spends his time competing in BBQ and officiating football. Travis has a wide array of experience, including as a QAQC manager and a site superintendent.

Serving the DFW region, Travis is committed to providing tailored solutions for his clients. When he's not busy building relationships, you can find him on the golf course or fly fishing in a river somewhere!

Whether it's exercising, working on home projects, or bringing greater good to the people around him, Willy always has a vision of making something better. He joins the McCownGordon team as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Zach was a natural fit coming from the company who handles McCownGordon’s audit/tax services. Being a CPA, we knew he was good at counting numbers, but didn’t realize he could also count cards until our Christmas party when he walked away with all the prizes.
