The McCownGordon team completed work on four different floors which comprised of new paint, ceilings, millwork, glass fronts and new wood doors as well as mechanical and electrical upgrades. Construction took place during off hours which made communication a challenge between the office and the field.
Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic occurred in the middle of this project and caused some schedule delays. McCownGordon offered creative solutions to overcome these challenges and keep the project on track. The team successfully finished the project under budget even with the added scope changes and unforeseen delays. Husch Blackwell was very impressed the finished product and has discussed other potential opportunities for more work.
