Advancing Surgical Operations at LMH Health
The project consisted of an approximate 7,000 square foot building addition to the existing hospital to house sterile processing and distribution operations and equipment. Work included renovations of existing spaces/connections to the surgical department and new MEP connections from the existing basement to the new addition. The expansion consisted of concrete foundations, structural steel frame, masonry envelope and standalone HVAC system capable of meeting temperature, humidity and exhaust requirements for sterile processing spaces and equipment. The addition was a separate structure with expansion joints at exterior and interior connections.
