The new facility features a fleet maintenance building, offices, training rooms and additional support spaces for cranes, vehicle lifts and wash bays. Procurement was a priority to ensure the pre-engineered metal building was on site to keep the project on schedule.
To maximize the value of the construction management delivery method, the preconstruction team optimized the budget and provided more than 40 cost options for the city to consider. During construction, the team focused on extensive communication and coordination to minimize disruption to existing facilities on the active site as well as the neighboring homes.
