
Both buildings are energy efficient and will support all the other buildings on campus that are seeking LEED certification. As an enabling project, the team had to ensure that the central utility plants were online and operational before the other office buildings were complete.

The project included an extensive preconstruction process that lasted approximately 10 months. MEP trade partners were selected approximately four months into the process and were relied on to optimize the design and drive savings into the project. Ultimately, approximately $3M in cost options were accepted through the preconstruction process which saved approximately 6% of the total project cost.
