UMKC Healthcare Delivery and Innovation Building Trade Partner Information

Project Description: This building will be housed in the UMKC Health Science District (HSD) which brings together 12 public and private partners in an 18-block region that support the growth of interprofessional health education programs. The Healthcare Delivery and Innovation Building is a 5-story, 172,000 GSF new building planned for UMKC’s Health Science Campus. The new facility will serve all the UMKC Health Science programs, however, the building will focus on the needs of the School of Dentistry (SOD), School of Medicine (SOM), Health Equity Institute, Biomedical Engineering and the Data Science and Analytics Innovation Center. This new facility will meet growing needs in these health science schools and fuel success in building upon current research strengths in areas that disproportionately affect lives of individuals in Missouri – perinatal death, drug addiction, dental health, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disease.
